Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quantity Takeoff Specialist to join MSB Estimating LLC. The ideal candidate will prepare accurate material and quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications, supporting estimators and contractors with reliable project quantities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity and material takeoffs from construction plans.
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Measure and quantify materials across various construction trades.
- Identify project scope, materials, and quantities accurately.
- Organize takeoff data for estimating and bidding.
- Coordinate with estimators to clarify project requirements.
- Review takeoffs for accuracy and completeness.
- Meet project deadlines and maintain quality standards.
Requirements
- Experience in construction quantity takeoffs.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Understanding of construction materials and building methods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Previous estimating experience is preferred.
